CTM wins Best Corporate Booking Platform at BTA Europe

CTM was the proud recipient of the award for Best Corporate Booking Platform at this year’s Business Travel Awards Europe, held on Thursday 9th September at the Grosvenor Hotel, London.

Designed around the user, Lightning is CTM’s proprietary online booking tool that serves thousands of travellers around the world every day with a consumer-led approach. Lightning combines a deep focus on what travellers and travel bookers need with best-in-market regionalisation to suit the needs of diverse organisations no matter where they are.

The incredibly fast and easy-to-use experience of Lightning means it’s possible to complete a flight booking in under 60 seconds, with minimal user inputs and maximum choice.

In the past 12 months, CTM has made several key additions to Lightning which were critical in CTM receiving the award. Our agile approach to software development meant that we were able to scope, design and implement new features within Lightning to help cater to the new requirements placed on travellers in 2020.

Universal Product Attributes with RouteHappy APIs

CTM was the first TMC in Europe to implement IATA’s Routehappy API for Unique Product Attributes, allowing us to provide customers with seamless, integrated travel insights and intelligence spanning government health and travel advice, quarantine measures, and sophisticated risk management tools

Integrating this extra layer of travel intelligence into our booking technology allows CTM customers to make more informed travel choices and feel more confident about their return to business travel.
