Historically known for its high quality

fresh, modern European cuisine and stylish

cocktails, The Living Room is a one-stop

shop for a great dinner and drinks. The bi-

level property on Deansgate first opened

its doors in 1999 and has continued to be

a hot spot for the social butterflies

of Manchester.

With a diverse food menu, there is

something for everyone. This property can

offer three private rooms for groups from a

small intimate dinner to 120 guests.

The Living Room is a flexible venue

offering great food, drinks (try its apple and

cranberry mojito!) and large private dinners

and will suit a wide range of clients.

The celebrity chef name provides an

insight in the expectations of the food

and it certainly lives up to the hype

and expectations. Full of flavour and

excellently presented, the modern British,

seasonal cuisine is not to be missed.

There are pre-theatre menus and

glorious Sunday roasts too.

It’s surprisingly situated within

Manchester235, a 24-hour entertainment

complex in the Great Northern building

– a former railway goods warehouse -

which includes a casino, poker lounge,

function space, bars and two restaurants.

It certainly provides an alternative twist

to the generic restaurant location but

don’t let that put you off, as the restaurant

interiors are stunning.

It is the perfect setting for a small

party, or an intimate meal, plus there is

a separate space dedicated for groups,

which includes its own bar and stage.

James Martin Manchester is the perfect

backdrop for any entertainment needs.
